Education
As a graduate of Cal Poly, I have gained hands on experience in many areas of engineering. This has taught me how to work with a team to create complex aircraft and system designs, as well as how to fabricate and test parts to validate design decisions. Through work in the design lab, wind tunnel, machine shops, computer labs and club facilities, I have seen and experienced all parts of the design and development process.

California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly)
Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics
Graduated Cum Laude – GPA 3.6
2013 - 2017
The Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at Cal Poly is an ABET accredited program that teaches how to perform technical work such as wind tunnel, CFD, and structural testing, alongside detailed discussion of the theory and mathematics behind aerospace and engineering principles. The program culminates with a year long design project, which I completed with a team of 5 to create a conceptual design of an arctic surveillance unmanned aerial system. Some other notable classes that I completed while at Cal Poly are:
-
Aerospace: Aircraft Design, Flight Test
-
Aerodynamics: Applied CFD, Experimental Aerodynamics, Super and Hypersonic Aerodynamics, Experimental Aerothermodynamics, Aerothermodynamics, Aerodynamics and Flight Performance
-
Structures: Experimental Stress Analysis, Aerospace Structural Analysis
-
Computing: Aero Systems Senior Lab, Aerospace Engineering Analysis
-
Stability and Control: Aircraft Dynamics and Control, Fundamentals of Dynamics and Control
-
Communication: Tech Writing for Engineers, Principles of Oral Communication
